Tantamount to rubbing salt in the long-bleeding wounds of American Blue-oval enthusiasts, Ford TeamRS (the European equivalent of SVT) is preparing yet another hot-rod morsel based on its Euro-only Focus: the Focus RS.
From afar this Vette would appear to be just another Z06. Now rub your eyes and take a closer look, because these are the first spy shots of the highly anticipated, but yet unnamed super Corvette.
Dodge’s Hornet concept is aptly named. Every trend that has created a buzz on the automotive scene in the past few years can be seen on this little stinger. The Mini Cooper remains the huge success everyone expected it to be, and since Dodge loaned out the Neon 1.6-liter engine for that car, it makes sense that it would want a share of the B-segment spotlight. 
There's just one thing wrong with the 400-hp, all-wheel-drive Mitsubishi Eclipse Ralliart turbo: you can't buy it. It's a one-of-a-kind SEMA concept that showcases Ralliart, Mitsubishi's new line of performance parts. But maybe one day you'll be able to buy it. Anyway, that's what we told ourselves when we showed up at Willow Springs International Raceway to become the first to drive the car in anger.
Just to prove that German automakers aren't the only ones who plan products based on what their rivals have done, GM comes out with the Camaro--a retro-styled, two-door coupe with a honking big V-8 that harks back to the glory days of Motown. If that sounds familiar, that's exactly what Ford did with the Mustang. Hot on the heels of the Pony car's success, DaimlerChrysler has dusted off the Challenger and Chevy has produced a new Camaro, a nameplate that was more recently interred. The muscular Camaro concept is pure '69 updated, with the kind of subtle detailing that makes it look up-to-the-minute. The interior is very glitzy, and pays homage to the original, even down to the GM seat belt insignia and the twin instrument pods.
