An IOU when (if) I borrow Money from him... DON'T COUNT ON IT! Razz

Next thing while the rear end is all apart, we are going to drop the rear differential and replace all the seals and gaskets to make it like new! I will post pics of the project.

Already have the Tech Tips Section...

http://www.sweetrides2001.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewforum&f=5

But, since no one else on here has a Vette, (other than DaSwish, but I live with him for crying out loud), this post was just general discussion to show the rest of you. Where are all the Vette owners hiding?!?!

Tom Thumbs Up

Yeah, I have given up cruising on the jack stands for now... Anyways, gotta fix a few other things while the beast is apart to get it all completely road ready. Winter is the best time for me to do it now that the weather will not allow for top off cruising... T-Tops, that is Wink

I will keep posting pics as the project progresses.

Got the differential dropped out and started work on the U-Joints in the drive shaft. But, turns out we got the wrong size replacements... Oh well. Neutral

Waiting to change the seals in the differential once the WD40 kicks in. If not, its time to persuade the nut with a little Acetyline Fire! Twisted Evil

Things are really looking awesome, Tom. Keep up the good work. Those trailing arms are something else, I thought I saw sockets for diamonds in them.

OK, the Vette saga continues. I recently ordered a set of repro. T-Top Brackets to go on the stainless rack I got for X-Mas. They set me back $225, but I had to do it and I think they will work out very nicely.

To be continued...
