Steve there is an apolstery place right behind the pawn shop in finksburg, (the name is escaping me right now) But I know they can embroider for you. I think i was quoted 100$ to get to ponys done on my seats. I would go talk to them see what they can do for you..

Jeremy, it may be very difficult for me to help you until atleast the second week of April. And, I'm sure this will be too long to wait. But, I am pretty tied up every weekend from now till then with house settlement and making sure my ducks are all in line for the signing March 30th. Thats all right dude, I know the house stuff is pretty important.. And the carpet doesnt look that hard. What did you actually use to cut it, and how did you get all of the wrinkles out, and strech it tight...

I used a Utility Knife and a set of Aluminum Snips to cut the carpet. Remember, measure twice, cut once. Its a one time deal, so take your time.
As for getting the wrinkles out, we set Mike S's carpet out in the sun for about half a day to let it warm up and smooth out. Best bet is to take it out of the box and lay it on the floor and just let it expand on its own. For the reall stubborn ones, you may need to take a hair dryer and heat it up a little to make it more plyable. I think your best bet is to just let it sit out for a few weeks and it will work itself out.

Tom is right on the carpet....your best bet is to let it sit out for a week or two before your about to put it in. that is what i did when i put new carpet in my car and it worked out quite nicely....but don't let it sit out in the cold garage. take it inside like downstairs and let it lay on the floor down there....
And the upholstrey shop that you were talking about behind Twin Kiss is called ACC

I have had the carpet laid out in the basement since I received it in early January. I just looks wrinkled still maybe when i get it in the car it will straighten out. I like the hair drier idea I will have to give that a shot if it gives me any issues. Also I talked to Body Shop Bob's which is the body shop that did Matt B's mustang I think I am going to get some of my interior trim painted silver, then clear coated for protection. They quoted me between 50$ and 60$ for the job. I just have to get everything lined up and see what I want painted ect..

Hey JW,
If you lay it out on a warm day in the sun that will help with the wrinkels. It makes it a lot more pliable while you are getting it in the car. You are lucky since you have a drop top. You don't have t fold yourself up into a little ball to get it in! _________________ 99 Roush Stage III Mustang

The drop top has made this project so much easier. I couldnt imagine pulling the dash in a coupe or for that matter even pulling the seats. It would just suck major ass.

I you don't have a vert to work in, T-Tops is the next best thing. Although, you'd be surprised how much that little bar in the middle of the roof actually gets in the way
